Hay Saturday Market
1st April to 31st October
Hay Saturday Market. 10am-4pm. First Saturday of the month, April to October. Bringing over 40 independent producers, street food, flea traders and local makers to the town square and market halls of Hay-on-Wye.
Hay Festival 2024

HowTheLightGetsIn Festival 2024
24th May to 27th May
The world’s largest ideas and music festival returns to Hay over the May Bank Holiday (24-27th )! Over 450 speakers and performers join us for a weekend of 300 deep-diving debates, intimate talks, critically acclaimed music laugh-out-loud comedy and much more. With a packed children's programme, intimate dining experiences, restorative wellness sessions, outrageous cabaret, alongside a whole host of talks, debates and music, HowTheLightGetsIn has something for the littlest brains to the biggest dreamers! Final Tier Festival and Day Tickets are almost sold out! Children go free and under 25s get 30% off.
Byzantine Icon Exhibition
24th May
A collaboration between a Ukrainian Iconographer and British Iconographer, our work will be for sale, prints, cards and originals. As we gaze upon the saints, we realise their lives and their humility towards humanity, driven by love. This exhibition will be open daily from 10.30- 4.30 apart from Thursday morning on 30th May, when it will be open at 11.00 - at St. John’s Chapel, Lion Street, Hay.

The Duchess of Mars EP Release Party

The Duchess of Mars and guests present an evening of live music to celebrate the release of their new EP, "Into The Wild" Performances throughout the evening from Versaints, Ugly Jumper, Two Pounds Down, Eaten By Lions and Plant Species.
Concerts for Craswall: Hope Cramsie, guitar
26th May
Originally from Herefordshire, Hope Cramsie is a classical guitarist based in the UK and Belgium. Winner of the Ivor Mairants Guitar Award, she is making a welcome return after her sell out concert here in 2022. The varied programme includes music by Dowland, Arnold, Snowden, Berkley and Walton.
Return of the Spouse
26th May
Return of the Spouse, an Indie-Folk band hailing from Herefordshire. Blending finger picking folk influences, with a driving rhythm section and haunting melodies. With JAKEY BOY and YUNGOLD
Hay Music: A4 Brass Quartet
21st June
A4 Brass returns to Hay Castle after its hugely well received concert in 2022. With its distinctive sound, and varied and accessible programme, this will be another delightful concert for all.
Hay Madrigals and the Ystradivarius Ensemble
13th July
Beautiful music by Mozart and Vivaldi, and – for once – we are actually singing some madrigals! We will be joined for the first time, by the wonderful string players of the Ystradivarius Ensemble. St Mary's Church, Hay-on-Wye, HR3 5EB; 3.30 - 4.30.
Hay Summer Show
21st July
A traditional summer show for all the family. Including traditional show classes as well as entertainment, and hosting local stalls, food and drink vendors. Everybody welcome. For the community by the community.

3 Choirs Festival
